Reinforced pull points withstand years of tension stress
The U.S. Navy first adopted the A-2 model in the 1960s, opting for a more lightweight version of the iconic N-1. This interpretation of the classic military design has been cut from a 100% cotton, with a plush shearling lining, for warmth and protective comfort. A hip length, boxy shape piece, this jacket allows for great freedom of movement in day to day life, and boasts original durable features which served the troops so well.
Concealed knitted cuffs have been added to protect from the elements, while hand warmer pockets serve for convenient storage. A single snap popper fastened chest pocket has also been featured, and to cinch in the shape of the waist, the brand have included a cotton canvas buckled adjuster. The front plate has been lined with vintage military style buttons, which cover a custom manufactured zipper with leather tab.
